Barnaby Joyce…hypocrite extraordinaire

Barnaby Joyce

Updated 5 March 2018

Barnaby Joyce has made a public statement that the paternity of the baby he is expecting with his mistress, Ms Campion, is in question – “a grey area”.

Former deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce has slammed the initial reporting of his relationship with Vikki Campion, saying he was never asked if he was the father of his former staffer’s unborn child and that the issue of paternity is not certain. In an interview which centred on Mr Joyce losing the second-highest political office in the country, the National’s now back-bench MP, told Fairfax Media that the baby boy he and Ms Campion are expecting in April would be raised as “mine” but conceded the identity of the biological father was “a grey area”. Mr Joyce has previously referred to the unborn baby as his son.

Oh dear, Barnaby Joyce, – Australia’s current deputy prime minister, drunk, husband to lovely Natalie, father of four beautiful daughters, also father of his young staffer’s unborn baby, should have used a condom! Oh that’s right, he’s a good, staunch Catholic who doesn’t believe in contraceptives, and whose good Catholic family didn’t show up to his “sacrosanct” (between a man and a woman) wedding to Natalie…how do they think she felt on her wedding day; I am appalled! He has violated his wife and daughters…they are absolutely devastated! We do NOT need this kind of hypocritical right wing nut job governing Australia!

Quotes from Barnaby Joyce concerning same sex marriage debate, and his four daughters:

We know that the best protection for those girls is that they get themselves into a secure relationship with a loving husband, and I want that to happen for them. I don’t want any legislator to take that right away from me.”

At the same time Joyce was fighting tooth and nail to exclude same-sex couples from the institution of marriage, his own marriage of 24 years was crumbling because of his affair with a young staffer in his parliamentary office.

There is now an investigation under way after allegations that corruption may have been involved in creating the  six-figure job in Queensland Senator Matt Canavan’s office for Deputy PM Barnaby Joyce’s pregnant staffer, Vikki Campion, after their affair created dysfunction in Joyce’s office. It is alleged that Campion did not merit being employed in the new position.

Mr Joyce’s former chief of staff,  Diana Hallam, was close with Mr Joyce’s wife Natalie and ultimately quit her job over the Deputy Prime Minister’s refusal to deal with the inappropriate relationship and the dysfunction it had caused inside the office.

In 2017 there were  revelations that Deputy PM Barnaby Joyce had been conducting a sexual affair with a junior employee for close to a year despite being married and claiming to uphold ‘traditional family values’, at the same time there is an investigation underway alleging that Barnaby Joyce is at the centre of serious sexual harassment and molestation claims dating back to 2012 and involving multiple women, including a 17-year-old teenage girl.

Barnaby Joyce’s illicit affair with his employee came about despite the New England MP regularly foisting his conservative, Catholic, ‘family values’  into the public arena, including regular claims that allowing for same-sex marriage in Australia would threaten the ‘sacrosanct’ marriages of heterosexual people like him.

True Crime News Weekly can now reveal (13 February 2018) the testosterone and alcohol-fuelled politician [Barnaby Joyce] is alleged to have embarked on a sexual affair commencing in 2014 with high-profile Canberra-based lobbyist, Jannette Cotterell. Ms Cotterell is the founder of lobby group Executive Council and also has deep links to the Liberal Party’s favourite PR and spin manipulation machine, Crosby Textor. Mr Joyce was the Agriculture Minister at the time, having successfully transferred down from the Senate to the House of Representatives in 2013.

This is serious, because there is evidence of corruption stemming from this relationship, and True Crime News Weekly reveals that there is much more to come, including the sexual assault by Joyce on a 17 year old girl.

More revelations are coming to light: Barnaby Joyce has purchased a block of land which he describes as “worthless” yet it borders onto a proposed rail link… A new map explains what has been going on in the Pilliga with ARTC (while MSM turns a deaf ear) to Barnaby Joyce’s Inland Rail and coal seam Gas Santos. 2. It is disgusting . He has a roll and his role is to be respectful , but what he has done to his wife, children and all that he is meant to stand for is gone. He needs to be reprimanded and stood down as they do in America . It is not good for Australian standards ….he is an absolute disgrace and needs to be held accountable and shamed . OUT with him !!!!!!

  3. He is whinging about wanting privacy and respect yet he never ever afforded the same respect to Julia and Tim. Constantly decrying them and questioning their relationship. He certainly needs to be exposed, especially if there is a hint of corruption over the appointment of his lover to a role where due recruitment process wasn’t adhered to. He and Canavan must be dismissed. The mainstream media is also at fault for not bringing all this to light prior to the bielection.

I agree…Joyce and Canavan have shown that they have no respect for parliamentary office or taxpayers…and it beggars belief that a man like Barnaby Joyce is our deputy prime minister, while it casts doubts on Malcolm Turnbull’s leadership and what he has done to remain in power!

What Joyce and most people in power believe is that they are untouchable and can do whatever they want without being brought to task about it. It is time individuals such as Joyce are made to acknowledge their actions and do the right thing and step down from these positions. Enough is enough!

I agree with you, Luciana … leaders of communities and countries, are supposed to be role models for the young, and future generations, that is, all citizens. Sadly, this is not happening in Australia. The rich are expanding their wealth while the not so well off are struggling to survive.
